With more galleries than anywhere else in Southwest Florida, Third Street South is a thriving art center and major source for collectors.
Some galleries carry well known contemporary, modern or nineteeth century paintings. Others focus on the work of regional artists. The choices are extensive and cover a wide variety of media including sculpture, oil, watercolor, lithographs, prints and posters. There are galleries that exhibit pottery, blown glass, Native American art and much else.
Most galleries hold special receptions for new exhibitions and Thursdays or Fridays are often Gallery Nights. Call the individual galleries for specific information.
